Help us feed hungry students this winter with the Holiday Bag Project!

This holiday season, help us bring joy and nutrition to local children in need. The Holiday Bag Project is all about packing meals for students who go hungry during school breaks, and it’s a perfect do-at-home service opportunity for families, community groups, and passionate volunteers.

Sign-ups open November 1st.

The Need

Access to food is everything for a kid. Nutrition fuels play, learning, and a child’s ability to concentrate and succeed in school. Many Utah kids rely on school meals as their main source of nutrition, but schools aren’t open over the holidays.

During school closures, many kids are left without regular meals. Our goal is to close that hunger gap by delivering thousands of bags. In 2025, volunteers distributed over 5,000 bags, directly supporting hundreds of families across our community. The need is greater this year!

How It Works

We provide the bags, you provide the food. You’ll purchase, pack, and deliver holiday meal bags that give two weeks’ worth of essential food to food-insecure children.

It’s a service project and a donation all in one, and an easy, meaningful way for your family, team, or group to make sure kids don’t go hungry when school isn’t in session.
